Trapping
Fire lighting is one of the most important core skills to learn. With fire comes the ability to cook food, boil water and keep warm. It also is great for boosting moral and giving you the feeling of safety and comfort.
You will learn a variety of different fire lighting methods from modern survival tactics, to primitve friction fires.
Trapping is often a skill that is greatly misunderstood. We do not practice on animals and primitive trapping is in fact illegal in many countries including the uk.
It is instead a practice of carving and construction, putting together interesting mechanisms that our ancestors used to catch their food. It requires a great deal of skill and problem solving ability.
